WL2200-JDV -- PowerWorks Linux Development Environment, Single User - Domestic

The PowerWorks Linux Development Environment (PLDE) allows a single user on a Linux PC to develop applications for any Concurrent PowerPC-based real-time computer system. Application programs are compiled and debugged directly on a Linux PC while targeted to a system running PowerMAX OS. PLDE consists of Concurrent's optimized C/C++ compiler (ANSI X3.159-1989 & ANSI X3J16/95-0185), ANSI 77 Fortran compiler, NightView symbolic debugger, NightTrace event analyzer, NightSim frequency-based scheduler, NightProbe Data Monitor, PowerMAX OS Object Libraries and Include Files, TCP/IP, NFS and X Window System Client Server Libraries and the NightBench GUI desktop work environment.

Prerequisites: An Intel-based PC running 32-bit Red Hat Linux 8.0, 9.0 or 32-bit Enterprise 3.0 or 4.0. An Ethernet LAN connection to one or more PowerMAX OS target systems is required for application debugging.

Notes: One WL2200-JDV must be purchased for each PLDE user. See documentation table below. PLDE will also run on RedHawk 2.3 and 4.x, however NightStar for RedHawk cannot coexist with PLDE.

WL2201-JDV -- PowerWorks Linux Development Environment MAXAda Option, Single User

The PLDE MAXAda option allows a single user to develop Ada95 applications. The package includes Concurrent's optimized MAXAda compiler (ANSI/ISO/IEC-8652: 1995), automated build utilities, library management system, the Ada Real-Time Multiprocessor System (ARMS), real-time task monitor, real-time tracing, real-time data monitoring, Ada95 Annex implementations (A: Predefined Language Environment, B: Interface to Other Languages, C: Systems Programming, and D: Real-time Systems), selected bindings (POSIX.1, POSIX.5, timers, sockets, real-time services, and AXI X/Motif), and the NightView multi-language, real-time, symbolic Ada debugger module.

Prerequisites: PLDE (WL2200-JDVx).

Notes: One WL2200-JDV and one WL2201-JDV must be purchased for each Ada user. See documentation table below.
